Presenting the AP Orchard Road Limited Edition in Tantalum. Tantalum is a great metal for watchmaking as it is extremely hard, Heavy and has a great grayish blue color. It is also non reactive to most other substances making it a great. This watch was made to just 100 pieces and because it is such a difficult metal to work with (and also very expensive, similar to Platinum), there are only 100 examples. As a matter of fact, very few companies even use Tantalum because it is so rare and difficult to work with. That being said, this watch had a retail price of approx. $36,000 and finding one in better condition would be almost impossible since this watch was made in 2006. This watch comes with all the boxes, papers and hang tags as well as both an Original AP leather strap (pics) and the original rubber strap. This watch has just come back from AP where it got a full service and new rubber bezel. It has the full service warranty included as well as the servic3e box set. This truly is the ultimate rubber clad!!! The watch is keeping time within 1 secs/day on our timing machine as well. We will always consider buying your watch to help offset the price of ours.
