Girard Perregaux Laureato 42 Chronograph Panda

Presenting the GP Laureato 42 in steel. Well they finally got it right with this one. GP designed the Laureato to compete with watches like the AP Royal Oak and Patek Nautilus and IWC Ingenieur which were all designed by the late Gerald Genta and up until now only the Patek Nautilus and AP Royal Oak really has taken off and done well. The IWC version never really took off but with the huge prices of the Patek and the AP, The GP has been getting quite a bit of traction being the overall quality and fit and finish is exceptional and in my opinion, as good as the aforementioned. The GP is of course still value priced compared to those and in many ways as good or better. First I find it to be the most comfortable of the three. It is also the only one with a double ar coated crystal making it nearly invisible, lastly it is significantly less expensive, even at retail. These are becoming difficult to find, especially the panda dial and the larger 42mm version like this one. This one is perfect from US AD with all boxes, papers, stamped card from February of 2021 and all links. It is a great example and in perfect running order.
