PresentingJLC the Extreme Lab 2. This is by far one of the most complicated Chronograph Watches ever made and brought to you by the master Watchmakers at JLC. To say that it is a technical marvel is an understatement. This is so amazing in how and what it does and the fit and finish is simply at the top tier in watchmaking and has to be seen in person to be appreciated. This watch has a digit display minute counter at 12, linear power reserve from 9-3, GMT, and a unique system for adjusting functions by pushing the crown in instead of pulling it out! It even has a manual Hack Second feature at 9 to set precise time and a ratcheting quick set release on the strap and buckle to fine tune the comfort level or change straps without needing any tools. When I see this watch and compare it to a Richard Mille, which believe it or not, I will compare it to for the mere fact that the overall looks are similar but in my opinion, this is a superior watch for a lot less money. First it is a true manufacturers watch unlike the aforementioned who sources movements, parts, etc...It is also a JLC so it is engineered beyond anything else made for two or three times the cost and in the case of RM, 10 times the cost...The watch is said in reviews to be one of the best values for such a remarkable timepiece from one of the best manufacturers in the business and that is at retail ($65,000 approx.). This watch is Limited to just 200 pieces and comes with full large box set Both straps (rubber, alligator is still excellent), and full paperwork from a full service done by JLC in Switzerland with the additional 2 years of manufacturer warranty. If you are looking for a timepiece of true High Horology and want something in the technical field with a ton of complication and the "cool" factor, then this watch is it.
